Natural variation of circadian clock/pigmentation/development in N. crassa strains. These are representative strains from the Fungal Genetics Stock Center, in which over 6,000 natural Neurospora strains are deposited.

We study on genetic and molecular mechanisms of quantitative traits in fungi. Using model fungal system, Neurspora crassa, we explore the roles of light (as a major environmental factor) and circadian clock (as a major endogenous signal) in complex fungal developments and behaviors and their ecological and evolutionary significance.
